2 CEED Tech companies accepted to Techstars London, top 1% of applications.

CEED Tech has completed the acceleration and funding of 34 startups with programs taking place in 5 locations across Europe. The funded startups represent 15 countries and accelerators Startup Wise Guys in Estonia and Startup Yard in Czech Republic are sending their teams Sorry as a service and TeskaLabs to join TechStars London Fall 2015 batch. These international teams leave behind over 99% of competition and join one of the best startup accelerators in the world.  Fewer than 1% of the companies that apply to Techstars are accepted.


Sorry as a Service - Let’s companies say sorry to each customer, while maintaining the personal touch. Testing with Transferwise proved to increase ROI 3.2 times and increased customer lifetime value 12 times. Sorry as a Service is an alumni of Startup Wise Guys in Tallinn and has performed well at several pithcing events, landing second in LOGIN 2015 pitch contest , making it to the second round of Arctic15, and becoming the favourite of the audience at Pioneers. TeskaLabs provides enterprise-grade security solutions for industrial and consumer mobile applications. Techstars welcomes totally 11 companies its fourth cohort in London. Other startups range from 3D printing automation to security solutions, matchmaking platforms and even a new programming layer. It is a diverse group of entrepreneurs from five countries, including Estonia, the Czech Republic, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. You can see the full list of this batch here. Techstars provides $118,000 in seed funding, intensive mentorship, and an amazing network of mentors and alumni for 7-10% equity in the company.

Techstars is a mentor-driven accelerator that holds 13 week programs for startups in Boulder, New York City, Boston, Seattle, San Antonio, Austin, Chicago and London. As of mid-2015, Techstars has accepted 526 companies into its program. Collectively, these companies have raised over $1,300,000,000 USD. Program mentors include Foursquare CEO Dennis Crowley, tumblr CEO David Karp, HubSpot co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah, and Fred Wilson of Union Square Ventures.


CEED Tech is a consortium of 5 startup accelerators located throughout Central Eastern Europe. CEED Tech specializes in enabling scalable and high-potential startups with proficient founders through mentoring and investment. The program members include StartupYard (Prague), Digital Factory (Budapest), The Spot (Bratislava), Startup Wise Guys (Tallinn), and Open Coffee Club (Vilnius).  The current and collective portfolio contains over 120 companies.
